Guest Address by Mr. Atul Gotsurve, IFS (Regional Passport Officer, Pune)

“Passport is every Indian citizen’s fundamental identity right, but only 4-5% Indian citizens have a passport,” said Regional Passport officer AtulGotsurve.

Shri Vighneshwara education society’s international school of management & research had conducted seminar on “Passport Literacy & Legal framework for international business”. Mr. Gotsurve the speaker of the event appealed the students to spread awareness about the importance of passport. He informed students about the measures taken by the passport department to streamline the passport process & make it hassle-free. Speaking about “Legal framework for international business”, Mr.Gotsurve added that the Government of India is taking many steps for creating opportunities for Indian youth at the international level. The youth must seize the opportunities & make India highly visible at the global platform. Atul sir also had shown the samples of each type of passport. In the open session all the doubts of the students were resolved. Mr.Gotsurve was welcomed by Dr.NileshBhutada,Managing Trustee, Dr. Manju Punia Chopra Director ISMR B-School, Staff & students were present in the session. Student Vishal Varun presented the vote of thanks for the session. The seminar was highly appreciated by the students.
