1. Anti-Ragging Committee
According to the anti-ragging rule that the Supreme Court ordered in 2009, the Institute Anti-Ragging Committee was established in the year 2012. An Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad are part of the anti-ragging committee.
Ragging destroys numerous innocent lives and careers and is a horrible crime that violates human rights. The Indian Supreme Court has prohibited ragging, and all colleges and universities are required to establish an anti-ragging cell in accordance with certain rules.
The anti-ragging committee of the institute is dedicated to outlawing all ragging actions both inside the hostel and on institute premises. Anti-Ragging Squad is major component of the anti-ragging committee.
Responsibilities of Anti Ragging Squad
Under the supervision of the Anti-Ragging Committee, an anti-ragging squad is in operation. Squad is a part of the anti-ragging committee which also includes following members/stakeholders. It maintains surveillance and prevents any ragging incidents that might occur or be reported in areas where students congregate, such as classrooms, canteens, libraries, etc. As a result, Squad always assists the committee in taking timely decisions.
Disciplinary action to be taken
- Suspension from classes and academics
- Removing financial aid and other benefits
- Excluding them from participating in any examinations, tests, or other evaluation procedures withholding the results
- Admission revocation with notification to parents

2. Grievance Redressal Committee
Grievance Redressal Cell
As per UGC guidelines for Grievance Redressal Cell has been formulated at the institute to resolve the grievance of students. The student can raise their grievance by submitting the complaint in the Complaint Box which is situated on the ground floor of the institutes building. The Grievance Redressal Cell adheres to work effectively, and time bound.
Steps
- The student/ Staff can submit their grievance at the complaint box or can be submitted by application to the cell member
- The complaint will be redressed by Grievance Redressal Cell at the earliest
- The result of the grievance Redressal is informed to the complainant
- Director has the authority to reconsider the grievance if any

3. Reservation (SC/ST) Committee
To ensure the implementation of the affirmative action policy of the Government of India, the Government of Maharashtra, the UGC, and related orders issued by such authorities from time to time for the benefit of SC/ST/OBC and other reserved category students, ISMR established the Reservation (SC/ST/OBC) Committee in the year 2012. The Committee fosters and encourages the overall development, problems, and complaints involving all reservation candidates at the institute level. This committee’s primary goal is to support students who fall under the SC, ST, OBC, etc. categories.
Goal
- To inform students of their rights under state and federal law regarding scholarships, admissions preferences, and other matters
- To implement the necessary follow-up actions to meet the goals and deadlines established by the appropriate government authority
- To interact with the students, inspire them, and educate them about the many reservation regulations to prepare them for prospects

Clubs
1. Kautilya Club
We named Kautilya based on the famous Chankya. He was one of the best administrators and management under Chandragupta Mourya reign. He has always proven the best management skills while handling the region. Kautilya, as an ideal, we want to nurture our students’ to be morally strong, decision maker, creative, flexible and determined. Therefore, we have initiated Kautilya club, under which different curricular activities are carried out for students.
Under the club, our institute has initiated Entrepreneurship development initiatives, faculty development programmes for teaching and non-teaching, national and State Seminar and workshops for students on current affairs. We have projected these events / activities under curricular and co curricular for stakeholders. We have bridged the gap between education and industry by providing certificate courses. These courses are given to fulfil the needs and demand of the Industrial requirement, technological understanding, foreign language etc. These certificate courses are scheduled for students after each semester for industrial experts’ knowledge. To uplift the students’ management skills in testing platforms for skill development. This has helped a lot to improve the placement opportunities in different organisations across the industries.
The Kautilya club has delivered the most value addition programs.
2. Harmony Club
Harmony represents the state of balance among the forces influencing our emotional imbalance and even one opposing one another. We at ISMR proposed Harmony Club as an extracurricular activity for the students. Harmony represents the activities that provide a channel for reinforcement of the lessons learned in the classroom. This has given an opportunity to apply academic skills in the real-world context to some extent.
The students’ overall development through social skills from social enrichment activities like blood donation camp, Tree plantation, National voters’ day, e-waste collection drive etc.
Through sports and culture activities boosted students’ participative learning approach in real life. The institute has promoted the different sports activities like Cricket, Basketball, Etc. The institute has always promoted indoor and outdoor sports activities for students as it is a part of institute infrastructure facilities provided to the students. As we have a diversified student population we have students from different cultural backgrounds, values and beliefs. To give scope to their cultural values and maintain harmony amongst our students we under this club engage many activities in which students get a chance to show their culture. The programs under cultural activities like dancing, singing and competitions.
3. Udan Club
Udan word represents the students’ upliftment in their future career. As a management school, our responsibilities become more to empower the students through different career opportunities in the world. We have initiated an Entrepreneurship development cell which was renamed with the Udan club. We have an association with different state government facilities to promote entrepreneurs. We have arranged counselling sessions, workshops, Industry future trends, Industry 4.0, start-up in India etc. We have promoted a Udan to showcase the awareness and updating of the students’ knowledge. The Udan has built the creative thinking ability among the students.
